Komodo Island

Komodo Island is one of the main reasons anyone sails this archipelago. Around 1,300 Komodo dragons continue to breed here — the largest lizard in the world, averaging two to three metres and at least ninety kilograms.

You walk the island to find them, but never alone: a park ranger leads every group and stays with you the whole way.
